What is AZ Man Camp?
It is a very intentional tent camping trip for men. While there is plenty of machismo and manly activities and competition, the meat of the camp centers around four purposeful elements:
Group sessions with Worship and Direct talk about our individual relationships with God, and what that means with regard to our calling as husbands, fathers and providers.
Time of Solitude – Saturday morning there is 60-90 minutes for everyone to sit alone with God, in the forest. Some prompts are provided for men that might not know how to approach that time. This turns into a pivotal moment for many men.
Squad Time – Each man is part of a 6-8 man squad that plans together, travels together, camps together, cooks together and “get real” with each other around the firepit. Each squad has a leader to help their group through the practical as well as Spiritual aspects of the weekend.Prayer Tent – There is a team of men who are there with the sole purpose of praying over the camp and praying with men as God captures their hearts.
