What is AZMC

We will be hiking and camping on top of the Mogollon Rim.

You will be required to carry everything in, including food.
There IS a hike to the campsites.

This means you need to think carefully about what you pack and how you pack it.
But don’t worry, your squad leader’s role is to make sure everyone has what they need and to coordinate and communicate all the details to you. Even to help you track down any equipment you might need.

You will be placed in Squads of 6-7 guys with a squad leader.
Your squad leader will be responsible for making sure each squad member is prepared for this trip. Teams will drive up together, ruck (hike) together, bunk together, eat together, etc.

Please note that the weather conditions are variable and possibly cold/wet so you will need to pack accordingly.

Your Squad leader will provide you with a checklist and help to make sure everyone has the necessary equipment.

This IS an “All or Nothing” trip. Your Squad travels together.
That means no one comes up late, and no one leaves early.

This is why the sign ups start 3-4 months before Man Camp, and end a month before Man Camp.
So you can make the necessary arrangements.

One theme of Man Camp is, You’re a Man, figure it out!
Not every detail has been planned, some on purpose, some on accident.
You’ll have plenty of opportunities to “Figure it Out”

AZ Man Camp not only provides an incredible outdoor camping experience,
but has been designed to create challenges, remove comfort zones, encourage physical activities,
provide team building and competition events (i.e. Chopping down trees, Carrying logs.)

We will have a loose and fluid schedule for group meetings, entertainment, competition, and meals.
Correction: There is no entertainment, that’s some other kind of camp.

The early registration cost is $125 (after that it’s $145) which includes the trip, Saturday lunch,
swag bag and an experience that will leave a mark on your life.

“Leave a Mark on your Life”! (#Priceless)

Now that’s a bold claim.

We are willing to make that claim, because this not like any other camping trip or men’s retreat you’ve been on.

In the midst of all the fun and Manly activites, there are three pillars that are most important.

  1. Fireside Chat times with your Squad (including food prep and eating)
  2. Time of Solitude (on Saturday)
  3. Prayer Tent (team of guys there, just to pray WITH you)
    • Full Disclosure, And just so you know, they are already praying FOR you!
